Our Coffee

Our Coffee Beans
All our coffee beans are supplied by Origin, a coffee brand based here in Cornwall. Not only is Origin coffee great tasting, it’s ethically sourced and environmentally friendly.

Because 108 believe strongly that coffee growers should get a fair price for their product, we use
Origin’s
Farmer 30 coffee blend.

Building face-to-face relationships with their coffee growers, Origin agrees on a price that ensures farmers receive at least 30% profit for their coffee beans. By basing the price on percentages, the coffee growers’ cost of living is taken in to account – meaning they get a fair price. And if the farmers can produce a better crop, they’ll benefit from a higher premium.

As Origin say, it “means more money for the grower and better coffee for you!”
Farmer30 is a blend of coffee made from three types of beans ethically sourced from Finca Los Altos in Nicaragua, Finca El Carmen in El Salvador and Capim Branco in Brazil.

Our milk
All the milk we pour into our coffee is bought from Rodda’s Cream, based just down the road from Truro, in Redruth. Rodda’s have been making their clotted cream with
top quality milk, fresh from Cornish cows, for over 120 years. And their local milk tastes so good, they now bottle and sell it.

Whether it’s the clean Cornish air or the lush, healthy grass, some of the best milk in the world is produced by cows in Cornwall. And we think it tastes great in our coffee!

Our cakes
All our cakes are made at home using local Cornish produce. We even use fresh ingredients from our own garden whenever we can - and you can’t get much more homemade than that!

We've taken family recipes, added our own ideas and arrived at what we think are some pretty tasty cakes!
